The bag is beautiful, it took me five tries to get the bottom sewn on correctly. The holes kept getting misaligned on the corners. I blame the issues on the lack of clear directions on how to sew the corners. I managed to get it right eventually. I found a different video online that helped me get it sorted out.
It took me two months to finish, but it was worth it. I showed it to a few people and they were amazed. I even added an Hermès Twilly to tie around the bag and brought along the guitar keychain to complete the look. Im afraid now to take it out because it looks too good I don’t want it to be stolen.
It's not my first bag, not my last!
I already had the 25 cm and I wanted the 30 cm, an not just plain black or neutrals 😅 I choose the orange. The color is so bright and i received so many compliments! And of course I already ordered my next one! The video is so easy to follow, and when you first get a hang of it, it's so easy! For reference, I am 178 cm tall
I made this bag as a gift for my mother for Mother's Day / Birthday. My mother was overjoyed with the results, she has many high line handbags that I have purchased for her over the years and this one is just as nice. The kit is very well made and included everything but a lighter to melt the string ends. If you take your time and watch your stitches and don't rush the end result will turn out beautiful and be something to be proud of. I highly recommend Popsewings and plan on doing additional bags for her.
